Before it is even enchanted, these rare hydrophane opals from Ethiopia radiate a mystique all their own. Unlike any other gemstone, hydrophane opal possesses microscopic pores that allow it to absorb and release water. This unique property gives it its name, derived from the Greek words hydro (water) and phanein (to show or appear). Known as the “water-loving opal,” its shifting beauty and elemental nature make it a geological marvel.
Much like the comic character Aquaman, who regains his strength and powers when exposed to water, hydrophane opal undergoes a remarkable transformation when immersed in water. This unique gemstone’s natural energy is significantly amplified, enhancing both its inherent magick and the enchantment placed upon it. Hydrophane opal is more than a gemstone. It is the champion among opals, a catalyst for awakening your inner potential.
These particular opals have been enchanted by three Adepts in a Celestine Light Circle of Power to awaken and enhance the hidden abilities and talents of its possessor. Whether or not you are consciously aware of them, these enchanted gemstones are designed to help unlock the potential that lies dormant within you. It may manifest as creative gifts in music, acting, or art, or more esoteric capabilities such as telepathy, clairvoyance, or telekinesis.
The opals are housed in a sealed glass vial filled with water to preserve and activate their magickal properties. To witness the captivating color display, gently rotate the vial under a bright light. Handle with care, as rough movement could cause the opal to fracture. However, if this happens, it will not affect the opal's enchanted power.
To activate the enchantment:
Hold the vial horizontally under a bright light and focus your gaze on the opal. Gently rotate the vial so the gem reveals its shifting rainbow fire.
While doing so, repeat aloud at least three times the Word of Power: Ractongala (pronounced ract-ohn-gahl-ah).
Then clearly state: “Unleash my power!”
This invocation may be repeated as often as desired. The more you engage with the opal, the more its energy will guide you through intuitive nudges, sudden insights, or synchronistic opportunities to discover and develop your own unique superpower.
To deepen and amplify the opal’s transformative energy, 36 Stewardship Angels were called upon during the enchantment process to infuse their divine presence and stewardship energies into these gemstones:
