This beautiful royal blue Lapis Lazuli Cabochon (a gemstone cut in a convex form without facets) can be used as a rubbing stone, talisman, unadorned pendant, or set in a bezel for a jewelry pendant. Look closely as it has a small hole at one end to insert a small jump ring through for anyone who wants to wear the cabochon as an unadorned pendant. 
 
Celestial blue Lapis Lazuli has been a noble gem of truth through the ages. Lapis Lazuli is actually primarily a mixture of the minerals Lazurite, Hauynite, Sodalite, Calcite and Pyrite. With cabochons, we choose Lapis Lazuli with a fairly uniform deep blue color and a good showing of golden pyrite spread throughout the stone.
